1930s (mid) Primus 71 E

    A Primus 71 with canteen and stove-stand with thin removable pot-supports, forming the 71E set.
    Canteen can be used as a saucepan and frypan.
    The cotton strap is original to the set.
    I'm dating this stove to mid 1930's. The short version of the 71 was introduced in 1931 and lasted at least until 1939.
    The few catalogues we have that were made after '39 don't mention it, nor can it be seen in illustrations.

    Stove, flat filler cap. No hex nut to remove regulator stem.

    Fount stamping. Use only petrol (stamped in 4 languages). benzine, benzoline, naphta, petrol.

    Her cork gasket would still hold pressure, wick was perfectly fine, old fuel was drained. After putting in some fresh fuel and preheating she was good to go.

    Now that I've posted this I see that the pictures are way too small to be viewed properly.
    I've never before had this problem but would appreciate if an admin/moderator could help me with resizing the pictures or show me how it's done.
