    Thank you again Daniel,
The > complete NOS and being of a > particular vintage (Optimus-made Primus 71) adds to the challenge of a valuation.

I'm familiar with the market re the model but I am ebayUS based.

For "auction price" idea, you can search Primus 71 ebay UK.
After results list, click on sold items.

That should get you some idea, again auction price, but also, the 2 > line items above make it hard to place value.
110 GBP (145 USD), for UK market, maybe sets price expectation too high? or am I the one who is off ? I don't know how to search ebayUK. My "guess" would be closer to 65 GBP.
    good luck, PM sent.

TMI: I sit wondering, when Ben 1st posted was it higher than 110? While I was typing, I thought he initially suggested higher? oh well matters not, 100-110 says he.

Ebay UK sold search shows £40 - £100, but none were in as good condition as Daniel’s.

If a pristine Primus 71 is on your want list, £100 is a good price. However, predicting auction prices is like picking racehorse winners!

I would prefer to sell it to someone somewhere like here
    Rather than on ebay

I’m sure someone will get back to you on purchase.
