This is my 1939 ‘rocket stove’. These type of industrial stoves, often referred to as 'rocket stoves', were used for starting hot bulb engines, operating portable furnaces and more depending on the number of burners. The model 734 has three burners but similar Primus stoves have one, such as models 85 and 702, two or even more than three burners. Fount holds 4 UK pints. It goes well but is not excessively noisy. This model was made in 1939 and is stamped AD 17. When I run it I take the three flame rings off as they are seemingly unburnt.
