Got this from Sweden a while back. Ordered a kit from Fettlebox (fast shipping, thanks!), changed the capseal, ledwasher and the nrv. Pumpleather just got soaked for a while. Looked nice when I got it, but I had to give it some more cleaning (one early morning).

Had some trouble with getting it to ignite properly, but figured the priming was the issue. Tried outside and the wind was blowing the flame all over. Doubleprimed inside the garage and all was better. Here are some pictures.

Hi @esphojo A beautiful, well presented Primus No.96 stove.

It is important to give protection from drafts and side winds when priming these stoves. I assume that you do have a brass gauze plug inside the vaporiser.
Your priming wick in the spirit cup will certainly help to provide more efficient heating of the vaporiser.

    Spirit Cup Wick material

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

Thanks, all.Yes, the priming wick was a winner (glasfibrepad). Should probably used the windshield aswell, but got it to run
