    I just got off the phone with a U.S. Primus representative. (A nice kid named Clay). I was surprised to learn that Primus no longer provides fuel line replacements or parts for their Himalaya Multifuel or Varifuel (gas and liquid fuel versions) camp stoves. I spent a lot of money on this stove and would like to keep using it.

    I'd appreciate any help, thanks.

    @Etavirp ,
    I just found "this" on their website. They have always been more than helpful. Not sure why you would need a new fuel line, but you could drill out an Omnifuel fuel line to clear the cleaning cable. I've also occasionally found parts on ebay.

    Hi,

    I'm planning to change the fuel hose for the 3288 Himalaya. I have two of these. The latest purchase is with the old hose with unchromed (brass) valve knob. It works just fine but it's quite stiff and the wiring around the hose is quite worn out at the stove end.
    As said above Primus is no longer providing the correct spare hose for these stoves. My question(s): does newer hoses for Omnifuel/etc fit to this? I know there is no room for the cleaning cable, but still. Do the threads match?
    This stove didn't even com with the cleaning cable. Is there any other reason for the cable than cleaning the generator tube? It runs fine without.
    Without the cleaning wire there would be room for the omnihose..

    The other Himalaya is rocking good with healthyt hose and it has the cleaning cable. But still wondering these newer hoses for reserve for the future.

    Br, Finnburn.

    Yes the threads is the same. The old hose works on Omnifuel, but the hose of Omnifuel doesn't math the multifuel/varifuel stove because of the cleaning cable. Without the cable it will fit.
