It did come with the SVEA outer cap shown in the pictures, and with the inner cap shown. I discovered that a 15mm end-feed copper pipe coupler fits very nicely into the inner cap and the top of the burner; or at least it does after a bit of nifty work with a file. I fuelled it and after a quick prime away it went. The pictures show that it burns with a nice blue flame. I bought a new top plate and after some work with the file it fits ok. So now I have a very usable stove.

    Here's what I would like to know;
    Is the 4206 outer cap the same size as the 4205 outer cap?
    If the two caps are the same external size, are the bottom four rows of holes on the 4206 in the same position as the four rows of holes on the 4205?

    If the holes are in the same position then I might try to find an engineer who can put me in a fifth row of holes on my silent cap. It's a good stove as it is, but maybe I can make it that bit better.

    I like that silent cap, the other inner cap looks like a part for a alcohol stove, a impossible to find part.

    Hi, wade through this thread and you should get dimensions and number of holes in outer caps of some silent burner caps.

    Very good information there, and enough to show me that I cannot just convert a 4205 into a 4206.
    I'll keep my eyes peeled for the right parts, though I think I'll be waiting a long time.

    Silent and Roarer Burners

    This claims to be a “Medium” silent burner and looks like it should fit your Pr.10

    Best Regards,

    Hi @Greg Jones they also have inner and outer caps for their silent burners. Check out the dimensions they provide to see if they match your existing burner body:
