I was looking through a 1934 edition of a Camtors catalogue and came across this illustration.

Here’s the whole page on which that appears ...

... and this is the cover of the catalogue.

In THIS thread on CPL Christer Carlsson in 2014 said of an example posted there by Bo Ryman:
I don’t believe Bo took up that suggestion so belatedly and with respect to Bo, here are his photos of his extremely rare example of the actual attachment, mounted on a Primus No.100 stove. A mica-glazed globe I see.

In his post Bo provided this 1934 catalogue entry, which shows a hanging accessory and reflector.

This is a very rare stove/lamp, actually I miss the top hood that holds the mica globe. I have no chance to find that part so I am working on adapting the hood top of a 1020.

Best wishes with your project Nicola.

Bo’s example has the component I’ve indicated missing.

Does yours have it? Any idea of its function? My guess is that it’s an air inlet flap operating lever, offering some measure of fuel/air mixture control.

If I remember well it is present, but not sure about it’s function. I was thinking about this lamp just yesterday, so I will take it out from the “projects” boxes and check.

    I let you know

It would be interesting to know what the missing component is for. The Primus 1027 does turn up. I have seen 3 different Primus 1027 lighting attachments all without the missing component. Bo's is the most complete 1027 I have seen, with the original mica glass.
