I do like these kettles and they seem to work well with paraffin pressure stoves.

Here is the one I use with the brass stoves, In this case a 1938 Primus 25:

The Primus 25 is a 4 pint (2.5L) stove and to give an idea of size, is shown here alongside an Optimus No. 5, 2-pint stove.

One of the better moments of this weekends trip to show our engine at the Belper steam rally, was we picked up this Primus 25 in its plated livery complete with cast pan ring.

Hi the stove has an AC code that makes it's manufacture date 1938. It has a pressure gauge but the glass is broken and you can't read it "i think it's mica". The pump end cap has worn oval but apart from that it runs ok Cheers Martin

Hi Kerophile, very nice stoves. The kettle looks like a simplex with the openings on the bottom, is that correct? I have been looking for one, but the older ones are hard to find. The Primus 25 looks like it would cook for quite some time. ;)
