A neat little auto-light version of the 'Lilliput' Primus No.34 dating from 1921, a very low production year, especially for silent burners. Lucky to still have its original fixed screen burner although initially without inner or outer caps. Home fabricated inner and top caps have been made to get it operational. The trivet is an Optimus piece but works well in achieving a good separation between the burner top and pan base. The only significant design change I can see between this and the 2 earlier dated gallery examples (here and here) is in the detail of the pressure release arrangement on the filler cap. The other obvious difference, the low set, 'auto-light', spirit ring was an option which would also have been available to buyers at the earlier dates too.
