Not having the time to complete projects already hasn't stopped the acquisition of a couple more...

Latest speculative punt on a job lot (for intended spares) on eBay yielded a 2pt Monitor with a silent burner in what looks like a MoD aluminium case, a meths burner, a 1938 Primus 632 blowlamp  and this little gem which after a bit of rooting around appears to have it's collection of bits!

I've cleaned it lightly to get rid of the grease and can reveal that it's a 1939 (AD27) Primus No4 :D/

It holds pressure but the burner is pretty coked-up.

Any tips on further cleaning the brass tank appreciated, it's looking a bit "red" under the gunk despite having what looks like original lacquer remaining in areas. Seem to remember reading about copper leaching out and tanks getting leaky, don't want to ruin this old dear!

What started as a parts collecting trip ends up as 3 potential projects, requiring more parts no doubt!

    Not bad for 99p though!

Thanks very much! I'll give that a try.
