This is the first one I have seen with roarer burner, except for one I have myself.
Question is if that was an option or if the burner has been replaced?

It's a No. 2, not No. 4! So, the roarer is original, as is the cast-iron top.

Normally this combination of a 1.5 pint capacity tank, and a roarer burner would be a Primus No.0.
However, I have seen several Primus No.4 stoves fitted with roarer burners and assumed that these had perhaps been fitted by owners when the small silent burners became unobtainable. There were still plenty of small roarer burners used on Primus and Optimus one-pint stoves at that time.
    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.
