A big friend gave me this beautiful Primus No 84 date it (AN 1949). I really appreciated his gesture with all my heart.

Looks enormous. Just how big is it? Can you put a 96 or a 210 up next to it? Or another common stove? 111? 8R? 123?

    Hi Ivan,

Wow, that one is big. Too bad about the neighbors. Love seeing flames from these big ones. Your collection is starting to fill out with large and small stoves. This one is definitely on the large size!!!

    Thanks for sharing,
    sam

I suppose now that the Space Shuttle has gone into retirement its rocket motors were bound to find their way onto the market sooner or later.

A very good friend to have passed one your way, Ivan.

The Primus 84 has a slightly smaller burner than a Primus 85, but is otherwise identical

    Primus 84 and 85

The output of either is tremendous and, with a suitably constructed frame to support a pot, they make about the best wok burners for a stir fry I know

    Wok cookery

    All the best,

    John
