Finally managed to get the No7 up and running (see NRV thread) & a big thanks to Ian for sending a spare NRV.
The flame does not seem right , could it be a worn jet ? I’ve used a pricker on it which helped but still not getting an even flame , any suggestions to remedy it .Flame shots below -
    Regards
    James

    Hej @jb101
I would say the flame ring or sth. similar is missing.

    Ciao, Bastian

Or the jet is worn, or the tubes are partially blocked or polluted or a combination of both?
    Ciao, Bastian

How does the fuel get across from the riser tubes to the nipple tubes?

First stop must be to try a new jet before delving and further. One step at a time, process of elimination.

    Hi Ian
What other jet(s) can i use for this as this uses the 4747 one which i think is larger than the normal size jets ,also any advice as to where to get one from?
    Regards
    James

Through the top casting I presume as there are no other connections

Worth trying Mike at Base-camp first, some larger blow lamps used this jet too I think.
