    Hi All
been after a Radius 20 for a while but they don't tend to come up cheap very often so when i saw this i thought it might be worth a bid

i bought it for the spares thinking it would be handy when a nice one came up
it had quite a rough solder repair and had had a hard life but i thought i'd try and clean her up

i reckon she isn't to bad now and a few more polishes and she should get even better

thanks to 4xB for the advice on the hammerite rust remover, it cleaned/derusted the tin pretty well considering how scruffy it was when i got it and didn't affect the paintwork 8)
and thanks to Henrik for my supply of lead washers
and of course to Sefa for his pump cups
i'm well chuffed with the stove it's the best tenner i have spent in a long time

    atb Bill

    Very nice work, Bill!

I have a couple of its cousins (Monitor Touring and Primus 96) still waiting for salvation. I'll take yours as an example of how the finished product should look.

Hi Bill, Great restoration. Looks nearly as good as new..... and you have a nice blue flame!

You should get a lot more satisfaction out of bringing this stove back to life, than just buying a little used example of this stove.
    Best Regards,
    George.

a superb restoratin there Bill on a fantastic stove i am realy happy you decided to restore it rather than use it as spares in fact i would only use a stove as spares if the tank had stress cracks missing most of its parts well done there bill you got yor self a real bargain
