This is a Radius No.43E. What does that say and mean under the burner excushion? Is that a date? Help me guys. Thanks Mr.Burnout. John Zoom in on picture
Hi Tony I thought it was arab writing in my back burnout mind. I am not dating it. The avid collectors who bid on this have the experience I lack. I will learn each day. Just let pictures speak for them selves. I think the one who owned it back then engraving his mark on burner. That is like awesome on a research topic. Thanks
@Burnout The use of Arabic is once an important market for Swedish stoves. The inscription on the burner should be engraved on the factory's factory, which may be made in Sweden or in the Arabic language of Radius. I'm just guessing 安峰 It looks the same as the Arabic on the Radius 21.
Hi Anfeng Yes we both have the same Arabic writing. You Radius is beautiful.. I will be a subscribe member later today. Bless your days John
@Burnout Does the stove also have Radius Ltd on it? If so, it is after 1939. If not, then 1939 or earlier. Ken in NC
The stove is made around 1960. Radius did date their instructions at that time with a stamp. There are 3 different types / generations of pot rests. This is the last and final one. The spirit bottle with its wider lid is the last type. The Radius 21 is from an earlier date. About 1940 - 49. Magnus
