I finally got around to cleaning and fettling my Radius 43E. I gave the case and sliding pot-stand a wash in hot water, polished the font. I had trouble getting the filler cap undone and eventually had to gently use some slip-jaw pliers with a rag around the cap to get it undone. It still had some old fuel in it. I had to replace the cap seal and oil the pump leather. I left the NRV for the moment.
I put some fresh kerosene in it and primed it. It's a bit hard to judge how much meths to pour down the spout on the windshield as I couldn't see how much was in the spirit cup. After priming and a few pumps it was away. It burned a bit rich initially but settled down once it had been running a while.

@gnome Looking grand. I'd much rather see a well used (and entirely usable) example such as this than a repaint any day.

I love the tiny spirit can supplied with these stoves.

Do you know if this stove spent its working life 'Down Under', quite a few have turned up there over the years and it seems the 43 sold well there?

Greetings gnome. Great post. I have the same stove. I need to remove and clean/replace the non return valve on my stove.
Any ideas on how to do that? Would appreciate any feedback.
    Cheers

The NRV at the bottom of the pump tube is the same on almost every kerosene stove. You will need a tool such as in this Stove tool thread and here is an excellent thread by @kerophile on the common NRVs.
