There were recent posts / discussions re this model stove w/this same heat shield. This is a 3rd example that has come up recently. I didn't win it but the seller is happy to share the images. The stamping on top of the tank is Radius Ltd No.15. The bottom stamping has Radius Ltd as well as the tank lid.

Radius Ltd indicates post 1938 for one detail in dating the stove.

Large script in Arabic on top of the tank indicates post 1955.

Hi, I believe that @Northern Light is right on the money with an estimated date post 1955.

Radius made stoves during a 50 year period between 1913 and 1963

The Organisation became Radius Ltd around 1938/40

The Radius No.17 was the roarer sister of the Radius No.15 and I believe that the tank markings of these two stoves can be treated as a group.

The photos which @OMC has presented can be compared with these on a later period, around 1960, Optimus No.17 I have:

You will note the similarity in the style and location of the tank markings relative to the position of the riser tube, filler cap, and pump.

I believe the two stoves were produced around the same time.

What a pity all stove manufacturers date coded their stoves, like Primus did.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile
