Saw this, and made an offer for $40 less than what they were asking for it. Much to my surprise, he took it. Sweet looking little stove. Ad photos: Shiny. Two burners come with it: Instruction sheet: Door on the windscreen: Nice looking tin:
Here's one in the reference gallery: Radius 21, brass, with # 437 Silent burner, 1930's Several examples in there. Easy enough fix:
Nice catch! It looks great - they are usually well built stoves. The family is coming together Primus 210 Optimus 00 Radius 21 but heyy - Where is the Høvik Verk 210 ;-))
Plus the 45 I finished fettling today, haha. Of course, it's bigger than the others. And thank you sir, the collection is coming along quite nicely. Be better yet when I get a chance to get out and use them. Anyone know the tank capacity on this one? Being patient for a Høvik Verk 210.
Took me awhile to locate a Primus burner equipped Hovik 210. If I'm playing in the garage, I like a 00 going. Duane
@hikerduane I take it the Hovik 210's are hard to find? Is there an advantage to them, or just rare to find? @Ed Winskill Thank you sir. My first Radius, and my first nickle plated stove. Is the kit in the Fettlebox for the 00, 210, etc, the same I would need for this?
Of course, the seller has the windshield upside down. Interesting how often they do that. I am certain the aforesaid kits work. If I'm wrong, somebody will say so.
I didn't notice that, but you are correct about the windscreen, haha. There's an 00 on the bay right now, that has the flame ring upside down. I thought that was the right kit.
Just noticed that the other burner wouldn't work on this stove. No big deal, just happened to notice it.
Who has to wait to get out and use them? Current lineup on the kitchen counter. The whole world is going crazy I may as well go with them. Of course, it's a lot easier if you're single. BTW...nice new stove. You got it bad don't you? lol Alex
This page might be of interest, it details the six known version of the Radius 21 stove. Six variants of Radius 21
@hikerduane I have all you mentioned. I have the 111B. Like to have the kero version. 111T? @Lighthouse I came across that link yesterday when looking up the tin. Very informative.
