Hi, I showed some photos a couple of weeks ago of a Radius 17 I had acquired recently.
This is a fairly early example I believe as the Radius "shooting star" trademark, embossed on the tank, is fairly large.
At the weekend I replaced the pump washer and seals, cleaned out the tank, and had the stove operating.
    I thought that you might like to see some images;

Firstly, boiling a kettle of water for the "Tea Test". The stove passed easily.

This is a good shot of the "Shooting Star" logo

Here you can see the eleven languages used on the tank.

    Proudly marked "Made in Sweden".

And finally, a close up showing the powerful flame pattern.

This is a good working stove, and I noticed that Keith said that he was using his one last weekend.

    Best Regards,
    George.

Hi here are some additional photos of tank features on the above, early, Radius No.17 stove:

You will see that the famous Radius "Shooting Star" logo is located to the right of the filler cap, directly above the pump knob. The logo is considerably larger than on later models of this excellent stove.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile

My Radius 17 is a later model that does not have the shooting star logo on it. Well built and was lucky to be given such a stove for free. It was only missing the flame spreader and an original was sent to me by a good member from your side of the pond.

Hi, Marked as made by Radius rather than Radius Ltd. That would make it pre-1938 according to Stefan's research.
    Bes Regards,
    Kerophile.

Hi, I had a request from a stove-friend to post some detailed photos of the stove legs fitted to this stove. He wishes to make some replicas for a similar Radius stove he is restoring.
    Here are the photos:

    1426422013-St.291.-Radius-No.17-legs-1.jpg
The 3 legs from the stove. The upper one is actually a replacment I made.

    1426422026-St.291.-Radius-No.17-legs-2.jpg

This and the next photo show a genuine Radius 17 stove leg taken against a piece of centimeter squared graph paper.

    1426422052-St.291.-Radius-No.17-legs-4.jpg

The above photo shows the early Radius leg against the "Bryan Miller" template. It shows the bend angle to be the same as a that of a Lux form made by Optimus.

Finally, a photo of the leg beside a measuring tape.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

Fantastic pictures that show everything needed to construct these unique legs only found on the #s 17 and 19 stoves. Thank you George.
