I am very pleased to have resucitated this AB Radius marked No.1S:or . Having read the earlier posts in the reference library, I understand that this makes the stove at least 85 years old It has one of the pressed steel trivets which, though pretty rusty and thin, has cleaned up quite nicely. As found As now Running well and passes the «brew test» with flying colours . Very solid stove under the grime . Burner looks original and is marked ‘Y’ on the hex. All other parts are Radius marked and look original. All parts are in surprisingly good nick .
Excellent! A real classic and the original no. 1 burner is truly infallible. They just keep on keeping on. Nice job, Peter
@abbahco1 . Thanks Peter. It is very encouraging to get positive feedback . I was delighted how well this turned out as I wasnt sure what it was when I bought it online. This was the only picture I had . The somewhat sad looking bipedal Høvik Verk Standard in the foreground is next up on the bench . Cheers Alastair
Hi Alastair: Hope you can find a matching leg for this: worth asking Tony Press: he seems to have numerous detached legs floating around; perhaps he has one that matches yours, cheers, Peter
I have the leg so its not a huge problem . I am beginning to amass a fair amount of spare bits . I think I should get a tattoo that reads «Never throw anything away» ) Alastair
