This is my last great find
Radius no 9 from the 1920`s. The no 9 is a Radius 21 with different legs and riser.

The first example of a Radius 9 to show up in the reference gallery. It always surprises me that there are still rare stoves out there waiting to be found. Thanks for sharing. The stove looks to be in pretty good shape. I say fire it up, boil some water, and post some flame shots!

Ahhhh...nice flame on the old girl. Always good to see these old stoves roar back to life. Rare and functional...you have a real gem there.

trebor you have a very nice, rare stove.

Your one pint stove is unusual in that it has fixed legs.
This tended to be done only with some small stoves in the early years of the 20th century, and your estimation of the 1920s is a good guess.

Your photos show that it burns well at nearly 100 years old.
It has the same burner as the 1¼ pint Radius No.0 and the even larger 1¾ pint No.2.
For its size it should be a very powerful stove.
Even though it has a small tank, Radius claimed that it would run for two hours on one filling of paraffin.

    trebor,
welcome to CCS re "This is my last great find" congrats on your unique find and best of luck to you that you may find more treasures.

re "no 9 is a Radius 21 with different legs and riser" from what we see that seems like a good description.

I take from your above description that the two roarers you
show on 9 & 21 are same size (No.37) w/same thread (if I'm mistaken please help me out).

You may find this link helpful re your stoves:
credit to stejar /Stefan for this excellent reference THANK YOU Stefan !!

Your correct. The burners are identical with same threads. On the above picture burner are switched from no9 to no21.
