Not sure of age, the legs are at the very ends of the range unlike the others in this gallery.
    Very nice flame control.

    Hi Dan, Great fettle!

What a wonderful range you have acquired.

I am having a love affair with Radius stoves at the moment and only a few days ago was putting the finishing touches to a near-mint Radius No.5 stove.

The quality of their manufacturing is first class.

Radius regulated burners are probably the best made, in my opinion. I use one with my Radius No.6 and stove-top oven to bake bread and the burner is just so controllable!

I also received one of these burners as a gift from a good stove-friend in the US, a few months ago. I have it fitted to an old Radius 17 at the moment and posted some photos on CCS.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

    Hi Kerophile

This was one of those no fettling needed stoves. Must be great quality as it had not been used for years and away it went. Not often you get a stove that has stood the test of time so well. I guess ranges have a easier life than other more adventurous stoves.

I like that the trivet comes in close enough to support my teeny espresso maker.

Like you radius are one of my fav's, not common here however.

    Dan

I have one of these on its way to me from Sweden. What is the plating/coating that is on the burner grates? I ordered a bunch of spares for it from FOGAS just in case and to just have them. The stove looked GREAT in the images sent. I'm sure that a thorough cleaning will be in its future. Like you guys I just love the two burner kero stoves with the silent burners. None finer!

Hi Bob,most manufacturers put a paint finish on their trivets/pan-holders/grates, but it was largely for cosmetic purposes as it soon burned off in use.
The trivets can get really hot in use with the sections exposed directly to the flame, glowing red-hot. Few coatings can stand up to these service conditons.
Modern heat-resistant "paint" coatings, such as are used on stoves, barbecues, and motor-car manifolds can be tried.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.
