    Hi everyone.
introduces the very rare korea stove.
it is not mine. it's owner is MR.Baek san's collection.
this giant stove model was made by Shinwoo co.
in south korea that probably dates to the 1970s.
this stove tank resembled, like tilley donut lamp.

A very interesting stove. How much fuel will the tank hold?

Fascinating! I really like a lot of the South Korean stoves - always a fresh twist in the designs.

I dont understand the logic behind the design. Why use a toroidal tank?

Probably for elegance / aesthetics? Kind of easy to recognize unique shape. Allows the burner to sit low (IMO).

Maybe easier to form & make? Looking at the burner & spiritcup I'd say the same about them.

It has nice pot stands, looks grippy. Does it work, do you have any pictures of it with flame?

I think it is to allow air to flow up to the burner, especially with the windscreen on. Just a thought, though.

Very unusual design and a silent burner too!

Very cool design. The South Koreans make stoves unlike anything I have ever seen, its like the weren't using anyone else as a template for their designs...
