This is my first 3-burner stove. Rinnai made for Eaton's department store in Canada circa 60s-70s. The check valve is leaking. Will a Coleman CV removal tool fit this stove?. I am not familiar with NRVs, is this a stove that uses one?
The pump knob does not have a hole in the center as the usual Coleman style , any reason for this? . The pump shaft is threaded and seems to be made to screw into the CV(NRV) but it does not...shaft threads are perfect so is it possible that the threads (if there are any) on the CV are stripped?
I have soaked the CV in Carburetor cleaner and poked the ball with a solid copper wire to move it to let the cleaner pass through.
Any suggestions/information would be appreciated. Thank you.
