    Hi All,
I have a Russian PT-1 'Touristy' which I recently received. There is a small amount of flame escaping from the regulator valve (where you put in the on/off spindle). I've circled it in red in the picture. This probably means there is a leak in the washer; does anybody know where I can source a new one?
    Thanks!
    Tom

@TeeEmPee There’s no washer in there but a compressible graphite sleeve. Tighten the nut and the leak will disappear. Tighten the nut too much and the spindle will be stiff to turn. An optimum setting to aim for.

These are actually very good stoves. I have found mine has a better flame than a regular Optimus 8R.

    Cheers

I agree: russian "Tourist" is better than Optimus 8R-
