Solvex safety stove.

    Acquired this stove recently, not seen one before.

    A different layout but largely based on common parts and function.

    Reminds me of an arrangement Perfektus produced. Alcohol stove frame with a kero tank and burner.

    Nice and unusual looking stove. But the design seams to be overly large for a single burner stove.

    Your right Lennart F I’ve just posted it in the reference gallery ,Simes it is very like the perfectus model,it came in that big tin “chest” Robbo55,it needs both hands to carry it .

    I guess 'Safety' comes from the fact it's less likely to tip over as compared to a 3 legger. Although you'll do yourself a mischief carrying it.

    British over engineering at it's finest possibly. :whistle:

    Yes Simes I don’t think any kettle would tip it over,also there is an over pressure valve on the top of the tank,I’ll probably bring it to Newark with me so we can have a better look.Lee
