Buflam kero stove that I’ve made ‘convertible’ to function as a lamp when required, featured in this project: Versatile Buflam (Action Gallery).

As there's no need for the stove to be lit I can enter my unfired 1939 nickel Primus No.10. Found in the SRG here

I'd like to add my Dolphin Firelite 'convertable' stove into the mix.
South African made piece of novelty

I will add an SRG post when I get around to it. I will also add it's manual to the SRL.

I bought it new in box and I think I'll keep it that way. Since I don't need a user lamp or stove and the quality of this Firelite is questionable...

    Regards,
    Arjan

    Greetings, All!

I was perusing some old stove photos, and came across one that I'd like to share here. I found this stove, an Optimus 45 with a silent burner, quite a few decades ago, in an antique store down in El Cajon, CA. I knew it was worth the asking price of $20, and man was I right! We've used it many times over the years, and it's always been dependable, with 100% reliability!! My entry in the May SOTM is this neat old stove!

Getting ready to boil up some water for a hot cuppa tea, before the snow shoveling begins!

So, how did it work? Glad you asked! It worked wonderfully, as you can see in this action shot!

Thanks for giving my entry a squint, and best of luck to one and all in this month's SOTM contest! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc
