Here's my Primus no. 50 in its homespun biscuit tin transit box with everything necessary for a brew-up (minus the kettle). Also included is a pic of Les, the Northern English fisherman friend of the seller whom I acquired this lovely stove from just under a year ago. 20230128_132711.jpg Screenshot_20231128-222448.jpg

    Greetings All,

My entry for the November (my birth month!) SOTM, is an Optimus #2 that I bought from BernieDawg, many years ago. I think that the #2 stoves are the Dog's B's, and there is little that they cannot do, besides fitting into "Ultra-Light backpacking"!

You can read more about this stove, and how it came to live here in our mountain home, by clicking on the Stove Reference Gallery link:

The Dawg dragged in my Optimus #2!

I have, I think, five of these wonderful stoves, and hope that one more will come my way. I remain hopeful that I will be able to get one of our dear departed friend, @shagratork, Trevor's #2 stoves. In any case, the #2 can do everything that I need done on such a stove, except of course, backpacking! Thanks for checking this one out, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc
