It’s a clone of an Optimus 8R that I’ve not seen before.

    Does it say “Polaris”?

    Hi Tony
thanks for getting back to me.

I'm not sure if it's Solaris or Polaris or something similar

the first letter is very hard to make out

The Taiwanese Polaris brand was linked to the USA based Precise Phoenix company ( which sourced stoves from S.Korea, Taiwan and Hungary then marketed them in the US under the Precise Phoenix brand)

Polaris P-2 stove, instructions, and catalog. (Taiwan)

Your Op.8R clone could be a Polaris R808 stove:

From the instructions in @Doc Mark post referenced above.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

Hi @adelcoro . Not sure of dates of Precise Phoenix, Shinabro and Polaris date but perhaps 1960s/1970s

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.
