I like the Svea 121L for its superb build quality, smart nickel plating and bragging inscriptions.

I've had this stove for many years, but it was leaky and sat unused on a shelf until recently when I discovered the ClassicCampstove site and realized that it was possible to fettle these old stoves and make them work again. New gaskets for the burner and the lids, and the stove was as good as new.

The box is in fine condition but the closing strap has gone.

Unpacking the stove. Note the collapsable wind screen made from solid brass, not iron plate. Alas the spanner is missing.

The tank. The threaded boss holds the travel cap when the stove is in use.

Proud inscriptions on almost every part. "The King of Stoves", nothing less, and a SVEA coat of arms.

    Runs like new after fettling!

Gorgeous 121! Love the inscriptions. They really do complete the look of the stove.

    Nice!
