I've recently "rediscovered" a SVEA 157 that had been gathering dust in my storage building. Based upon a recent eBay sale, this model appears to be quite rare. It has a SVEA 1915 burner, of which the inner and outer caps are missing. I think everything else is there, albeit partially disassembled. I would very much like to restore it to working condition. Can anyone give some advice as to other models with which repair parts are partially/fully interchangeable, how to convert to a kero burner (if it's not one already), and general advice as to rebuild/repair/use?

    Thanks!

If the jet in your burner is larger than the standard 0.32mm jet for kerosene, you will need to replace it and the pricker needle to run on kero. The burner caps can be bought online - standard “Primus-type inner and outer caps).
