SVEA (Sievert) 123

I "found" this yesterday in Warburton, VIC.
It was in an antique store and displays evidence of previous polishing.
I recognised it as one of the earlier v 1. Sievert models.

This morning I replaced the filler cap seal and SRV pip and fired it up:





It works - well!





I scanned the included instruction brochure to pdf, which included this (? dating info):

until after I'd fettled it....

It would appear to be a v. 1b I'm thinking...

 

I would say 1.b in the evolved/evolving typology.

It’s early, but with the tank/shield fitting works.
