Switzerland 1950´s Borde Burner NOS

    Here my new 1950´s (I presume) Borde Burner with Sigg stove assembly.
    The burner is NOS and has still it´s seal on it.

    Nice find! Where did you come acoss that gem? Never saw one with nickel still on the burner bell. It will never look the same if you light it.

    Congratulations on your fine Borde stove. :clap: :clap: :clap: It is an exquisite example of a small production slightly beyond handmade stove. If these are dated in or near the 1950's that must mean mine is similar but newer in date. It has a coil burner in the same location as the burner bell on yours. You can see more Borde stoves in the stove gallery. Some of mine are there too. Bordeology
    One word of caution: you may get sweaty palms and the itchy touch for flames but you must resist, if you take this stove's virginity be gentle. If you choose not to the twine seal is very fragile and can eventually deteriorate with handling. :rage: Did this one come with any other accessories? The cook pot set you have, are all of the pieces shown here? Well done on your find!
