I have one that looks just like that except it’s called a “quick flame safety camp stove” and was sold through western auto. I reckon they were both made by Prentiss-Wabers, mine was in a 1925 western auto catalog. It’s a sweet little stove, well made. Nice score!
Mine is called "Handy Chef Auto Camp Stove" and was sold by Sears Roebuck and Co. Great stove and yes, re-badged Prentiss Wabers Model #8. Enjoy! ....Arch
Howdy, Gents, I, have two of those, one sold by Montgomery Wards, and the other by Sears. Very neat little stoves. Here's a shot of Mac's excellent version of this stove.
