Thermos 8424

    Here's one with the tank inside the suitcase. The sexy red and black paint job is not original to the stove but was done by the previous owner. It matched his Corvette. :roll: :lol: With a lot of help from Hydro451, I think we came to the conclusion that this was model 8424.

    Interesting. Those burners look especially familiar -- very like the ones on my 8423.

    Yo Gary,

    I 'll get some scans of the Thermos reference manual up as soon as I get this new windows box
    fully functional with the scanner.

    This is a kinda' rare stove for Thermos. The tan and brown paint scheme, which your stove was originally is not common. And don't you love that "slant" style gen. set-up , cool :)

    I'll get those scans up soon and Jim I'll have some stuff for the 8423 too :)

    Hey there,I just wanted to share a couple pictures of my 8424 I just got for Christmas...I don't plan to sell it but I'd like to know about how old it is and what it might be worth. Thanks!
