The neighbors already think I am nuts cooking on my screened porch with obscure and obsolete devices. Now I’ve been spotted cooking lunch over twigs gathered from the yard. Brad

    I found out the twigs need to be really dry in order to keep burning in that small furnace.](*,)

    @Lennart F the same with any fire, you'll not burn wet wood how ever much you try.

    Tell the neighbors that the latest device also works with cubes of c4. Its true but I bet they wont understand

    I lost my access to C4 when the Marine Corp released me in 1971. It did work great in c ration can stoves we made. Brad

    Using C4 for stove fuel is proof why Marines did not get into the Navy. :)

    c4 was designed as a high explosive but so stable it cannot be accidentally detonated. It was designed to double as camp stove fuel. Fill a 20 foot container with c4 throw in a match and it will not explode. It will all burn though.
