Tilley Talisman LPG stove

    Here’s a couple of shots of one I recently rescued from a skip.
    Great job and built like a battleship.
    Gas bottle was included too!

    Welcome to CCS John!
    I bought a Tilley Talisman in the early 1980s.
    A very easy to use and reliable stove.
    After years of use I gave it away to a friend, in the days before I collected stoves.
    Of course, I now wish that I still had the stove.

    Thanks folks! I was more annoyed I had bought a camping gaz one a few weeks before. This would have saved me a few quid! Anyway, it has been donated to the Royal British Legion Riders Branch for some of our outdoor events!

    I still have one of these which were used regularly for group camps and never let me down. I tend to use paraffin pressure stoves when camping these days but it is still there just in case...
