Hello all. Got myself a Touring Turm stove but fuel won't come out of tank. Have it stripped down and wick is in good condition. Any ideas what the problem would be. Many thanks.

blocked tank outlet? Blockage somewhere between the tank and the jet. Keep looking and prodding with a length of wire.

Is the hole in the filler cap clear?

Yes, tried it with cap on and cap off. Must be blocked at pipes coming from tank. Not even a drop of fuel coming out of the tank.

Have to ask the obvious — Have you opened the valve?

    Photos would be really helpful.

Have stove stripped down to clean and refurbish at moment. Fuel wasn't even getting to the wick. It was bone dry.

use a car tire pump, (12v) from tank end, to blow out any blockage, mine was a bit blocked, were the adjuster bit it, fuel only comes down one tube, the other is just a support,

undo that nut with holes in, then very carefully, pull out tube, get torch, shine in hole, then look down other end were the nut is, take of nut first, then look :), if no light at end of tunnel, cry, if light seen, laugh, the hole is very small, it might have rust init from the metal that holds the wick in, I used a coat hanger and drill to unblock tube, cut up a hanger into 2 10" rods, ish, and put into drill, then inserted into tube, slowly, working in and out, its best to turn drill on at this point, :), at slow speed, that should get all the blockage out, best of luck, love my one, hope this helps

Careful polishing brass. It is recommended not to use a polish containing ammonia.

    Glad you got it fixed.

the only bit I did not touch was the bit with touring Turm lable on, done the inside, but just gave the outside a quick wipe down and a waxing
