    My dinner companions.

Cute little kit, pot is a bit small for anything but coffee, skillet works good. Weather was 34degF, with a stiff breeze and a few snowflakes. I think it took longer to boil water than my trusty Optimus 77 would have, but of course that is just a guess. I burn Everclear in my alcohol stoves, and every now and then burner kind of gets out of control, you get more flames, and you can't get is shut down easily. I often add a few drops of water to fuel, and it seems to improve the "out of control" experiences.
Kit is in my daypack now so it will get out for a few more adventures before I decide what I think of it. Gonna be hard to un-seat my Optimus 77 from it's spot as my favorite though.

I have a few alcohol stoves, Esbit type fuel stoves I need to move out, never use most of them.

Ken, not sure if I truly "like it" yet, I will give it a couple more times out and see.

I see your 'companions' were keeping their distance from the Spam. :) It has a similar effect on SWMBO.
