Ok, I have another, it differs slightly. "I think" it happens to be just slightly older?

The only differences I note: the simmer plate is blank and there's different text on the lid.

This cover has, in English, only a brief warning:
    WARNING Never refill when hot.

The rest of text is Swedish:

The other is not another age - just another market - that lid is made specifically for Norway with its own type approvals.

Tack Lennart, du har rätt. Dumt misstag av mig att norska är svenska. Jag hoppas att dina landsmän kan förlåta mig.

We leave my mistake as is with your correction (no edit request) and thread makes sense. Thanks again.

Soon after posting it, I thought tyhe sequence of examples of the little Trangia from the 1950s onward is interesting.
1950s TAB (top differs & not threaded), rare parramethtrol
    1950s / 60s TAL (holes differ & not threaded) Ross top & bottom , John's , Lars ,
1960s TA ? (threaded cap still hinged simmer ring) tretrop
    and on to newer

It is the same burner, the only difference is the markings, lid marked in norwegian with the norwegian type approval, and the blank simmer because german text has been somewhat of an issue in Norway since May 1945. Transcribed to non german alphabet it says ACHTUNG HEISS meaning WARNING HOT.
Simmer plate Trangia is about 1980 and later with few changes on the burner after fine tuning of the plate.
@OMC we are all here to learn more - aren't we?

I have to check my "norwegian" burners as the last warning is actually in swedish in that picture and the regulations says it should be norwegian.
