    Welcome to CCS!

Probably Parasene (British) manufacturer, dual burner version of THIS one illustrated in the Stove Reference Gallery.

Many thanks for the reply. Looks very similar in design with the same tank layout and black pump handle. Could the two burner version be a military stove?

Because of the green paint you mean?
No, purely domestic. Military stoves were to specific, very robust, patterns, usually stowable in their own metal cases - and painted green admittedly. Well, olive drab and not the green of your stove, which I'd describe more as 'shed green' or 'park bench' green :)

I have one that has the same colors. I also think they are Parasene. Mine came with 1 roarer & 1 silent burner. Ran it only a few times, cleaned it up and put it on the shelf.

Seems it's gone straight to ebay.

    'Vintage Parasene' £45 starting bid.

Oh well, not the first and probably not the last time I've responded to an enquiry with a sales description in mind.

If I'd have confirmed it was 'military' would the starting bid have been pitched even higher I wonder?

Thanks for the information. I got mine from my Father-in-Law, but other than firing it up for two brews (one off each burner) I have never used it. When the kids were young I always preferred the bottled gas stoves for camping.

Its going on ebay now with a load of other camping gear. Duncan
