Hello, I bought two tins this week, the first one a Primus and the second one an Optimus.
The first one, the Primus is a bit bigger than the second one, giving space to a Primus No 210.
But the second one, the Optimus, is it meant to store a stove in? And if so which number? And if not what was the purpose of this tin?

Hi @ton visser . What is the depth of your Optimus Tin?
    Please provide measurement or photo.
    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

Another picture to make clear what I mean, the Optimus tin together with an Optimus 96.
The stove does not fit in the tin, I did not try to press to make it fit.
The size of the stove is 11.5 cm and the tin is 11 cm inside.

Maybe an earlier model 96 with the fixed legs?

Some of my Primus 96's are a tight fit.

Same box spritburner, and the stove, a 96 too?
And it fits without pressing it into the tin?

I gave it another try and as Duane says it is a very tight fit.

So no reason for any more panic.

    Regards,

    Ton.

Aye, a 96. I notice your's has the 'modern' burner plate.

This may help with the packing:
