    Probably they originally had transfers on the tank sides which are now worn off and lost.

    @igh371 so is there a date difference or did they produce the two types at the same time. 1 been cheaper than the other

    @Dave1000car It was generally a cost cutting measure to remove the engraving / embossing. I've 4 Burmos 21s, the earlier ones were well marked, the last one had very little marking. If you search this site you'll find that there was also some badge engineering going on, particularly with the UK brands, with essentially the same stove being marked up with stickers / transfers and sold in different tin boxes.

    Regards

    @Dave1000car
    Congrats, sounds like you snatched up a couple nice examples there at any rate.
    So, do you have a parasene with a label on it (or is the one stamped)?
    I quick looked in gallery I've not yet seen a label.
    If you have one labeled, can we see it please? thank you

    thanks, this is what we see in gallery.
    Why unbranded, i do not know.
    The stamping adds some cost but iirc, not an extra step in production, the top of the tank is stamped-out, shape & lettering at same time.
