    Looks like a pre-1968 French alcohol burner. Bte B.G.D.G. stands for "Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement“ (patent without government guarantees) which they quit using in 1968.

    A common pattern of French alcohol stove, manufactured from around 1900 for at least the next thirty years. HERE’s one sold in the UK, boxed with an English-made kettle.
