I've got a Primus 71 that needs a key. So far I've been unable to find a source to purchase one... if they are out there please point me to them. Otherwise, I thought I'd ask if there are cheap/clever/effective alternatives that people have come up with over the years. My 71 is not pretty, and I just want it to run, it doesn't have to look original, so I'm open to suggestions. I've always liked the various wrench sized openings built into the factory keys, but I'm willing to do without that if I can employ a smart hack that allows me to at least control the valve.

PS: What size is this key? I measured the square stem it mates with at about 0.110", which equates to around 2.8 mm (if I'm doing the math right). I'd assume it is metric, so I'm puzzled that it doesn't work out to a round number. I tried the key from a Svea 123 (not a 123R), and it fit well. So that is the size I'm talking about.
