I’ve recently acquired this classic stove, but the brand makes me curious. I cannot find any other stoves of this brand. Clearly marked «VERITAS» and «Made in Sweden».

It has an unusual and early UFO type burner fra Høvik Verk in Norway. This one has a round top, different from the more square ones they made later.

Unmarked filler cap, air release screw, pump, and pump tube cap. The pump leather holder is traditional type, but it was stuck in the pump tube when I took the photos.

    Anyone know this one?

I had to replace pump leather and filler cap gasket, otherwise ok to fire up.

Greetings from Northern Norway (the sun is back soon, we see it at the mountain peaks).

Interesting stove and a lucky survivor @Håvard Kvernelv, well done for bringing it back to life, it looks very fine in original codition in the flame shot.

I can't offer anything regards the manufacturer, but some observations- the features such as leg shape, riser design and knurling suggest roughly mid-teens to mid-twenties, and the pump rod and filler cap seem somewhat crude, assuming they are original of course.

Thanks, @Blackdog for relevant input. I also got a hint, that this might have been produced by LUX, or with LUX production equipment. I will make a comparison.

I really dislike brass corrosion, so I chose to polish this one.
