It is apparently possible to refill the gas canister with gas bottles for butane lighters. Have not tried it yet, but it's written in the primus pro manual. But if you feel helpless with your little blue canister, I can of course be helpful and get rid of it for you. The only thing you need is a small package and my address
@Tantra this is great! That could be a useful information for anyone who lost his primus gas adapter, and I think this is pretty common as it seems easy to lose one, because of its small size... Bastien.
I try to found a original sample and use lathe homemade a 100% same adapter, may you help me measure the adapter, I have thread size and tool,
@Tantra I can help you with that, for sure. Just tell me which measures you need. If I find the time to do so, I'll do some sketch on adobe illustrator. Can I ask you to post more pictures of your 2253, and if there's a date written under the blue canister? It's supposed to be something like 04-82
Thanks! Can you see the color of the gas regulator, inside the stove? This is a circular part, with a metal hose on each side. Sometimes it's red, but most commoly it's in metal, with no paint.
I think you aim at the point is that reduced pressure valve Red color My stove I believe made or sell in Korea,or made in Japan sell to Korea, canister is made in Sweden
Thanks for your answer. I think that the Primus Pro and Combi models (2252 - 2253) were made in Sweden. I'm not sure they were made somewhere else... Bastien.
