So, the problem is this: Put a spark lighter on a stove that has used almost every bit of space available, mount it so it fits EXACTLY into its carrying case (which has NO room for anything else!), and not drill a SINGLE HOLE, so the stove can be restored to its OEM condition at a moment's notice.

The stove? A M1950 pocket stove. The results?

I give you, one and all...The M1950A2 Pocket Stove!

Here's a closer look at what the spark lighter is mounted to-the WRENCH!

I used a hole in the wrench that's unused (as far as I know!), and used a 8-32 wood anchor, a 8-32 truss head screw, a #10 washer, and a 5mm wave washer for tension, and accomplished this. :-k :-k :-k

Here's a backside view to make it more understandable:

So, to use it, you remove the wrench/spark lighter combination, jack knife and slide the spark lighter to the needed position, and off you go!

When you're done, fold and slide the spark lighter to the proper location, and clip it back on the stove. And it ALL slides right into the carrying canister, no worries!

Next: The Coleman 530 "G.I." Stove!

WOW Murph .... you were inspired!

That looks, and could almost be OEM!

I'll have to look out for a 530 now!

    Cheers
