Oven?May 11 2003 at 4:33 PM | Kent Shaun |
| Just got back from a B.S.A camping weekend held at the Folly Napton on the hill, the same venue as the stove weekend. Young 'Flying Cyril' showed me the oven he got from Ross, he was roasting lamb chops in it at the time. They looked and smelt delicious, and now I'm so green with envy I need one! So come on good people where can I get hold of a stove top oven? |

I did'nt see you go Shaun lad, I turned around and there you were....gone. Hope you had a good journey home. I'm planning in the future to make an oven of my own design in stainless steel. Then I can custom make it to fit my requirements....baking loaves of bread etc...???? p'raps not that far, but a few roast dinners (phesant, Abredeen Angus beef etc.) Next month at the Bristol camp I'll have a go at a bit of roast beef and Yorkshire pud.

Hay Kent I think the postage will get us. Also this is an old oven and doesn't fold down flat. I will have to look at making some of these ovens that will fold flat . There is a big advantage in this type.

Albert lad, if you make a folding oven find out the cost of postage and I'll have one! It'll fold down to fit on my B.S.A and who knows I might be able to have it brought to me via a B.S.A owner near to where you are? B.S.A owners are all over the planet don't you know. | |
