Primus 96 - 1929 - with silent burner adapter

I present to you my new lady....it is a 96 with a silent burner in perfect condition!!! I decided not to clean it and keep that nice patina!!!! Hope you enjoy CHeers!!!! also have a video!!!!

it is so rare that it comes with a large tin box later I will show you the dimentions is huge for that 96!!!! olso comes with a original brush !!!

Wow I would love to get a silent burner insert for my 96 is there anywhere to get one ,anyone know? My no 5 one is way to big..

Extremely rare. Primus part No.4200.

For a time, ace craftsman Bernie Dawg (USA) hand-crafted an equivalent. It fits the paraffin-fuelled ‘96’ stoves but also the self-pressurising naptha-fuelled ones such as the Svea 123/123R.










Those of us who have one tend to hang on to them!

That's a miniature work of art John, Gary is a very talented gentleman. I've got quite a few of his 3D printed silent caps but I'm not fortunate enough to own one of his hand made beauties.

 

Yeah Rob, he set the bar high right enough. Though he generously provided constructional details and dimensions HERE I’ve not yet had a go at making one.
